3 CFRG Skaters Qualified To Represent Team North Carolina

Three skaters from the Cape Fear Roller Girls have qualified to represent the state of North Carolina on Team NC Roller Derby.

Team North Carolina Women’s Roller Derby is formed from All-Stars of leagues all over our great state of North Carolina. Tryouts are held in December of each year and are open to all female skaters. The 2017 NC Team is coached by Paul of Carolina Rollergirls, Cool Hand Duke of Appalachian Rollergirls, Chief Goober of Blue Ridge Rollergirls, and Pain and Torch Her of Carolina Rollergirls. The team consists of skaters from: Appalachian Rollergirls, Blue Ridge Rollergirls, Bull City Roller Derby, Carolina Rollergirls, Charlotte Roller Girls, Fayetteville Roller Derby, Greensboro Roller Derby Ring City Rollergirls, Smoky Mountain Roller Girls, and some of our very own Cape Fear Roller Girls.

This is the most diverse charter for Team NC to date, and we are proud of the representation of skill and love of derby in our state.
