Spicy and sweet!

Bio: People are often surprised when they find out that Sassy plays roller derby, as most know her in a reserved professional environment. On skates, all bets are off and she is free to embrace her competitive side. Win or lose, Sassy is happiest when she’s on the track, surrounded by her team, playing this sport that she loves.

Origin: Sassy is an Eastern North Carolina girl, and even though she spent some time away, she’s been back in the Wilmington area since 2019.

Derby History: Derby found Sassy in 2013 and it was love at first sight.

Sport History:None! Roller derby is Sassy’s first sport. As a supplement to skating, she also does crossfit at Crossfit Reignited.

Likes: Animals, reading, and spending time with her husband

Dislikes: Inconsistencies, long sleeves, and tomatoes
